HOW DO I APPLY FOR A LIBRARY CARD?

To apply for a library card, stop by the library and complete a registration form.  Please bring a valid Michigan Driver’s License or Michigan ID and proof of Allendale or Tallmadge Township residency, if your ID does not reflect it.

WHAT SERVICES DOES THE LIBRARY PROVIDE?

Computers

Patrons may use our public computers by logging in with their library barcode number and the PIN, as long as their fines are under $5.00. If you do not have a library card, we can use your ID to sign you on as a guest.

Copier/Printer & Fax

Making copies, sending a fax, and printing from our public computers or your mobile phone is available for a charge.  Please note: a minimum charge of $5.00 is required for credit card payments.

Black & White Prints:
$0.15/page for letter and legal (single-sided)
$0.20/page for letter and legal (double-sided)
$0.50/page for 11x17 (single-sided)
$0.75/page for 11x17 (double-sided)

Color Prints:
$0.25/page for letter and legal (single-sided)
$0.30/page for letter and legal (double-sided)
$0.75/page for 11x17 (single-sided)
$1.00/page for 11x17 (double-sided)

Faxing:
$1.00/page for sent or received

HOW DO I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT ONLINE?

Click here to log in to your account. Once you have created a username, you may access your online account with your library card number and PIN.  Your PIN, when your account is created, is set to the last four digits of your phone number.

While logged into your online account, you may:

- check due dates of current items you have checked out
- renew items (most items have two auto-renews as long as there are no holds)
- search the catalog and place hold on items for pick up at your home library
- pay fines
- enable your borrowing history

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD AN E-BOOK?

HOW DO I GET FREE/DISCOUNTED PASSES TO MUSEUMS?

Check out the Michigan Activity Pass website for free/discounted passes to museums and attractions throughout Michigan.

HOW DO I RESERVE THE COMMUNITY ROOM?

Thank you for your interest in using our meeting room.  The meeting room at the Allendale Township Library is available without charge for library/township related groups and local non-profit/service organizations.  The meeting room is available to other organizations and individuals at a charge of $50 for up to 4 hours.

Reservations need to be made at least 7 days in advance along with payment, if applicable.

Please go to our "Reserve a Room" to submit a reservations.  If your reservation is approved, you will receive a confirmation email.

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER AT THE LIBRARY?

Would you like to volunteer at the library?  Are you 14 years or older?  Interested volunteers should fill out the appropriate forms below.  Once complete, drop the forms off at the library.  Your application will be reviewed and if we have a need for help, we will reach out to you.
