Bring 1 gallon of Legos and your creativity!  The theme of the month will be announced at the event.  Drawings will be held for free Lego kits.

 






 Stuffed Animal Sleepover

   Fri., April 25 @ 6:30PM

Stuffed Animal Sleepover



Come in your PJs and bring one of your stuffed friends to a special PJ Storyime with stories and a craft.  Then your stuffed animal will spend the night in the library.  Pick your animal up the next morning and find out what adventures occurred overnight.

 



 

 7th Annual Peeps Diorama Contest

   April 14-18th

Peeps 2014


Grab your creative hats and make a diorama using marshmallow peeps. The diorama can be anything you like: scene from a book or movie, historical event, sports team, everyday event, etc.  Drop your diorama off April 14-16 (dioramas dropped off after the 16th will be displayed but cannot be included on the ballot for voting).  Patrons will be able to vote for their favorite on April 17 & 18 and the winners will be announced April 19.





 Martin Lowenberg: My Experiences During the Holocaust

In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Martin Lowenberg will share his experiences as a Jewish child growing up in Germany while Adolf Hitler was in power.  Mr. Lowenberg survived the Riga ghetto in Latvia and multiple concentration and labor camps until being liberated into Sweden in 1945. Space is limited so show up early!
