The library uses software to manage community room reservations. Reservations can be made online for any time during library operating hours. Non-profit organizations may use the room at no cost. All other organizations, businesses, and individuals may use the room for $50 for 4 hours.
To apply for a library card, stop by the library and complete a registration form. Please bring a valid Michigan Driver’s License or Michigan ID. To save time, use our online registration.
Each time you check out items, the library will issue a receipt for you with the due dates for your materials. You can also check your account at any time to see when items are due, renew items, or reserve items. Need a reminder BEFORE your items are due? Sign up for E-Mail Notification and you will recieve an e-mail reminder three days prior to the due date of your materials. Click here for more info on loan periods and item limits
Click here to log into your account. Materials can be renewed by accessing your library account online. Log in with your library card number and PIN number. Then select the items you wish to renew and click on RENEW.
Click here to log in to your account. Holds can be placed on any items that are on the shelf at the Allendale Library or currently checked out. Holds can also be placed on materials from other Lakeland Cooperative libraries (exceptions being new items, A/V materials, and special collection items). All items on hold will be available at the circulation desk once they arrive.
Your PIN number is initially set to be the last 4 digits of the phone number on your account. If you have registered for E-Mail Notification, you can change your PIN number via the Lakeland Library Cooperative website. If you experience difficulty with your PIN number, please contact the library.
Click here to log in to your account. Fines can be paid by logging into your account. Use your library card and PIN number to access your account. Select the fines you wish to pay online and enter your credit or debit card number to pay fines.

Copier and fax machines are available for public use at the library. Copies can be made for .15 each and faxes can be sent or received for $1 per page.
Public use computers are available for free use. To log on to public computers, you must have a library card or, if a visitor to the community, a driver’s license or picture ID.
